Stripes may be just a simple compiled straight lines printed on a cloth but still, it must be worn with certain things to keep in mind. There are only two choices: vertical or horizontal stripes yet you have to know which fits you well. Vertical stripes are best for those who want to look tall and thin. For tops, vertical stripes may help you to look tall by making your upper body look longer –same with pants it can make your legs look longer which is perfect for short-legged.

What I’m wearing: Surplus shop tanktop, Bangkok jacket, Dockers shorts, Havaianas flip-flops, Boomerang dog tag, Flea market watch strap for iPod nano 6th gen.

On the other hand, horizontal stripes are the complicated one. If you’re thin and petite this will never be a problem. But if you have a big upper body, it can make you look bigger or worst, chubbier! So to lessen the horizontal-stripes-effect I wore this light blue jacket that I bought in Bangkok, which also matched with the color of my top.

Large stripes are said to be not too stylish for others –which something that I don’t agree with. Always remember that being stylish comes with confidence and courage of mixing, matching and layering of clothes. With proper pairing of colors and balance on shades you can be as stylish as you want to be! LOL

Dog tags are known as the identification tags. Before, they are usually worn by militaries that serve as their name or information tags especially when they are found dead or wounded. In relation with that, dog tags are now commonly used as accessories –but me, I prefer using it without changing how dog tags are used and made. This made possible by Boomerang! Plaid button-down shirt has its own limitations like other complicated colors. It has bold patterns that must be matched with plain bottoms so that conflict with colors and patterns can be avoided. Since most of the plaid button-down shirts consist mixed shades, muted colors are the best to match with it: black, denim, navy blue, etc. However, if you want to pair it with brighter ones make sure it still matches the involved colors on your top.

What I’m wearing: Dockers button-down shirt, Marithé + François Girbaud jeans, Crocs boat shoes, SMAccessories glasses, bracelets & bag, Keekz watch.

Denims are the friendliest shades for both men and women. It can be matched on whatever color and top you like. Skateboarding is one of the things that got my interest. And just like fashion, balancing and experimenting for new tricks are the things that challenge me. And to do it better, I wore these cozy clothes to move conveniently and to be able to join to the speedy move of the board. LOL!

What I’m wearing: Mint tanktop, Giordano shorts, Supra sneakers, SMAccessories cap & bracelets, Elevate Orange bracelet.

Neon colors are one of the latest fashion trends for this summer! But not like with other colors, neon shades aren’t that easy to find the perfect color to pair up. Dark colors will always be the safest shades for it; but if you want to pair it up with lighter ones, make sure to combine the colors that aren’t contradicting each other’s shades. If you’re going to pair neon over neon: yellow over orange, green over blue and pink over green are some colors that match each other. However, you should remember that there are only specific events that neon shades are okay to wear.

High-cut shoes are sometimes complicated to use because of the limited move you can make. But these shoes from Supra proved it wrong! It has a rare denim shade that made it look more stylish. It can be matched with shorts or pants and can be worn even during skateboarding: the upper front part of this pair can be folded which makes me not feel uneasy and I can still move comfortably.

Takoyaki or also known as the octopus balls is one of the popular Japanese foods in the country. Ever since I was a kid, Japanese and Chinese foods are really my favorite cuisines. And if you were to ask me which restaurant has the best Takoyaki, Tama Yaki will always be the perfect answer!

Tama Yaki has the best Takoyaki I’ve ever tasted. It has different and unique flavors that gave twist and new look to the traditional Takoyaki. The next thing that’s interesting about Tama Yaki is their friendly and fun-themed store design that could definitely catch everyone’s attention.

You can see on their menu the flags of different countries that signifies where the flavors are originated.

They also have different flavors for their Milk Tea–The uniqueness of the mixture of its flavors matches the taste of their Takoyaki.

Cardigans for men are usually used in pairing up with long sleeves, polo, tank tops, shirts and V-necks. It is most preferred by men because of its lighter and thinner fabric that could be applicable for the sunny-rainy weather in the country.

What I’m wearing: Topman shirt, Chemistry cardigans, Hangten shorts, Skechers sneakers, Coco x Fifi rucksack bag, Elevate cap, bracelets & glasses SMAccessories.

Pastel and bright colors such as cyan, yellow, green, etc. are one of the colors that are commonly used in summer. You could play around with its different shades through mixing and matching then coming up into a combination that must not contradict each shade. On the other hand, there are still things that you have to keep in mind in choosing which color to wear. But if you’re looking for some colors that could fit with either warm or cool skin tones aside from black and white, here are some that I could recommend: blush, red, gold and dark purple or also known as eggplant.

Dark brown is one of the colors that aren’t best to match with black. And for some, the combination of these colors is a big no-no. However, pairing it up with white top could create a perfect mixture.

This rucksack bag from Coco x Fifi has its own way to define stylish and useful. It has pockets for your gadgets and a big opening where I could put my laptop and other stuff.

What I love about Skechers shoes especially with their sneakers are: it has a relaxed fit and can be worn even without socks!

In fashion and styling, red always comes with a permanent slot that could never be replaced by other colors. It is usually matched with darker shades –but if you want to match it with lighter shades make sure to choose colors that are kept muted to avoid conflict with colors. Red always relates with power and dominance: its aura has a big impact in the eyes where it could stand out among the crowd. On the other hand, red also shows romance and love that made it perfect to be part of a date-night outfit especially for girls.

What I’m wearing: Cotton On shirt, Petrol jeans, Adidas shoes, The Drake Inigo Project lego watch, SM Accessories sunnies.

White, black and gray are always the colors that you’ll prefer when you’re on the safe side since it could be paired with different shades of colors. If red has a huge impact that could easily get attention, gray is quite the opposite. Gray is known as one of the emotional and neutral colors. It could be easily matched with bright and dark colors –also, these colors could emphasize more by pairing it up with gray.

If red comes with power, red for me also symbolizes someone that reminds me of being a kid: Iron Man. I’m always one of the fans of Marvel’s greatest super-heroes especially Captain America and Iron Man. Check out my previous outfit post of Captain America here. There are so many things that make them unique but always have one enormous aim: to do the right thing.

This watch from The Drake Inigo Project is one of the reasons why I thought of doing an Iron Man inspired outfit post. It has a combination of yellow and red color that will definitely remind us of one of Marvel’s remarkable heroes, Iron Man.

These new collection of Adidas Originals gave twist on my outfit. Because of its red and white combination, it didn’t give a flat look on my outfit since my pants are also red –because of the white upper part of the shoes it gives an outline that divides my red pants from the red lower part of my shoes.

When the sun is out and the heat makes every way to stop you from wearing your stylish clothes; simple tank tops, shirts, pants and shorts will be one of your best friends. And the challenge is: how will you still look fashionable without any layers of jacket, cardigan or vest? –Or what they call as the “tiis ganda look?” LOL

What I’m wearing: Bjorn Manila cropped shirt, Her Bench pants, Shulong shoes, Bags, Sunnies & Cap SMAccessories.

Being fashionable doesn’t mean wearing something just for the sake of fashion and style. You must always remember that being comfortable on what you’re wearing is one of the most important things when it comes to it. Also, it is not about following the latest trends or choosing your clothes based from the style of your favorite actor or stylist. Because in fashion, your job is to create an art through mixing and matching of clothes with only one basis: your personality.

One of the ways to know more which style you prefer the most is through experimenting and doing things out of the box –that’s why most of the fashion bloggers today choose to do some DIY clothes. This top I’m wearing is actually a shirt that I’ve decided to cut to give another look from it.

You could look stylish by only wearing simple clothes through accessorizing: it never fails to give style and twist on what you’re wearing. But still, there should be balance –because you might end up over accessorizing. So since what I’m only wearing are tank top, denim pants and sneakers, I’ve decided to put glasses, cap and watch. And with the proper combination of shapes and balance of color I picked these bracelets from SM Accessories.

The funny thing with these skinny jeans is: this is actually my mom’s. And if you are to ask the difference between the skinny jeans of men and women, I think it is the fabric and its cut. Most of women’s skinny jeans are made of cotton and spandex to highlight more of the shape of the legs and bottoms. On the other hand, with men’s skinny jeans, most of its fabric is made of pure cotton –which is less fitted than women’s. Moreover, in terms of its cut, men’s skinny jeans have a looser fit on crotch and waist area.

What you wear always defines who and what kind of person you are: it will serve as your introduction of yourself because it is the first thing that people will see. So you must always look confident as you present yourself in the crowd without being so bothered on what you’re wearing.

Dark colors especially Black are said to be one of the advised colors for those who want to look slim; dark colors may give the appearance of a slimmer figure since it could make your body’s shadows less visible. This minimalist yet stylish Dark Green jacket that I got from 101 New York, reduced the shape of my arms and my upper body –that made me look thin and young! LOL!

White shirts never fail to fit with any bottoms, jackets, button-downs, vests, etc. –even in terms of colors. It is the only neutral color that could emphasize one’s natural fairness. And since it’s summer, White is the perfect color to wear under the sun –because it only reflects the sunlight where you could feel more comfy and less heat.

During summer, bright colors and prints like Aztec prints are one of the trends in fashion. There you could see a lot of people wearing colored pants or shorts, and also neon and printed tank tops or V-neck shirts as their casual outfit. But if we’re talking about something that you could wear in attending some errands, meetings or for school: sneakers, colored pants and a top that could fall between formal and casual will be the perfect choice.

In going to malls for shopping and pull out, wearing cozy and easy-to-remove outfit is always a must. So I picked this Navy Blue short from Giordano since shorts are always the perfect clothing for shopping –because it could be removed easily and less hassle especially if you’re going to fit some jeans or pants.

What I’m wearing: Dockers Button-down, Topman tank top, Giordano shorts, Sperry Top-sider shoes, iPod nano 6th gen on Asprey strap watch.

For men, shorts and pants aren’t that much different in terms of finding the perfect top that could fit for it. The only thing that could make it a little complicated is its color –since you have to find the perfect color that will match for the color of your bottom especially if its color is light. But since what I’m wearing is one of the safest colors aside from Black, I could easily pair it up with different colors.

Wearing too much dark colors may sometimes look dull. But what’s good with this denim button down is that: it has light denim shade that emphasized by the darkness of the color of my bottom.

Summer classes are just a few weeks before it will officially start. So I’ve decided to come up an outfit that I could recommend to students who still want to look fashionable yet simple and appropriate for school.

What I’m wearing: Cotton On Button-down, Energie shirt and jeans, Converse shoes, Ice watch, SM Accessories Bag.

In going to school, it is a must to wear something cozy so you could finish your tasks quickly yet hassle free –especially if you are in college since you have to go in different buildings in attending your classes. So, I advise to wear a simple shirt, pants and sneakers.

If you are the sporty type of guy, I recommend this varsity jacket from Cotton On. The climate may not be perfect for jackets but this one has a fabric that isn’t similar to the typical varsity jacket.

In pairing up button-downs with pants may sometimes look formal or overdressed in going to malls or in attending some errands. So to make it look casual yet stylish, I’ve decided to leave it unbutton and to match it up with a gray tank top to give more highlight to its color –since it has a good combination of colors that is perfectly fit for summer.

What I like with Navy Blue pants are: it is one of the safest colors aside from denim. And it could be easily pair up with different colors: can be light or dark colors.

This Veloci watch that I got from LTime Studio comes with three stylish straps that I could choose depends on the type of my outfit. It’s like having three watches! How awesome is that? LOL

Since fashion is about experimenting, mixing and matching, I tried something that is unusual to my past outfit posts. So I’ve decided to wear this denim vest I got from Forever 21 that matched to my printed top –colorful and printed tops such as this Aztec tank top, are good to pair up with dark colored vest, jacket, etc.

What I’m wearing: Forever21 denim vest, Bench shirt , Dockers shorts, Sebago shoes, DIP Lego watch, SM Accessories.

I got the shirt from David last Christmas. Since it’s summer, I decided to cut it to a tank top.

SM Accessories have stylish sunnies every collection, so better check it out every now and then!

Summer’s heat has finally hit the country! And this calls for shorts, sandos and flip-flops as one of the elements in fashion during summer. But that didn’t stop me for wearing this fashionable jacket I got from Forever 21.

What I’m wearing: Forever21 jacket, Oxygen shirt , Petrol jeans, Converse shoes, SM Accessories Bag & Sunnies.

What I want about this jacket are: it has cardigan-like sleeves and stylish denim on its body that gives rareness to the style of the jacket.

Globe officially launched the new Blackberry Z10 last Tuesday, March 19, 2013. And since, it is my first time to use Blackberry smartphone, I’ll be posting my experience and how Globe Powersurf made my Internet browsing fast and convenient as a blogger on my upcoming blog posts.

The weather lately has been pretty tricky so I’ve decided to do a bit of compromise by wearing long sleeves, that’s enough to keep me warm paired with breezy summer shorts. I’ve been into wearing shorts lately because of the unpredictable weather and it’s perfect when you go shopping because you can fit any bottoms easily.

Wearing white and simple clothing is like wearing something transparent to show the genuine beauty of a person. In going to a VTR or go-see, models are expected to wear plain fitted shirt and pants to see their natural look (unless there’s a requirement like corporate, casual, etc).

Today, I have a go-see to attend. So to wear something that is not overdressed, I chose the following: Folded & Hung shirt, Energie jeans, Shulong shoes, Bag, Sunnies & Bracelets SM Accessories as part of my outfit.
